I’m Gianluca Barsaglini, a technology professional with an international background and a strong track record in software, industrial systems, and operational problem-solving.
My journey began at the age of 16 in my family’s consulting business, where I was exposed early to the realities of business operations, client needs, and practical decision-making.
That foundation still shapes the way I work today: combining technical depth with a strong focus on reliability, efficiency, and business impact.
Over the years, my career has taken me across Europe, Japan, and North America, allowing me to work in multicultural environments and adapt to a wide range of operational and engineering challenges.
I have contributed to complex software and automation initiatives, supported business-critical systems, and worked hands-on in fast-paced contexts where responsiveness, structured thinking, and accountability matter most.
These experiences have strengthened both my technical capabilities and my ability to work across teams, functions, and priorities.
My academic path reflects the same commitment to long-term growth.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Information Technology at the University of the People and an MBA through the University of London, Queen Mary University of London.
Together, these programs are expanding my expertise not only in technology but also in strategy, operations, and organizational leadership.
Professionally, I have built my experience across software development, industrial automation, data systems, and operations. My work has included developing and supporting automation solutions, managing large-scale databases, responding to critical technical issues, and contributing to projects ranging from focused individual initiatives to broader cross-functional efforts.
Alongside this, I have earned certifications in project management, full-stack software development, UX design, data analytics, DevOps, applied AI, cybersecurity, and Microsoft Azure, reflecting a continuous drive to stay current and versatile in a rapidly evolving field.
I am fluent in Italian and Portuguese, fluent in English, and continue to develop my Japanese, with additional basic Spanish skills. Working across languages and cultures has become one of my strongest professional assets, helping me communicate clearly, build trust quickly, and operate effectively in international environments.
Today, I am looking for opportunities where I can continue to bridge technology, operations, and business value—contributing not only through technical execution, but also through ownership, coordination, and long-term strategic thinking.
